• 3 month Expo We participated in the WOCEK 2001 Expo which was held in South Korea and we represented culture, themes and unique hand crafted products of Pakistan as a private concessionaire.

• (7th April- 31st October 2002) • Six Month Expo • Theme: Contribution of Horticulture in the quality of life in the 21st century

• We participated in the Floriade 2002 Exposition wherein we built a Pakistan Pavilion and a Pakistan Garden.

• We received tremendous praise from international visitors as well as the Expo Authority who had made our national garden the center of attention of the Expo.

One of the most popular and most visited display at the Floriade Expo 2002 was the Pakistan Sea-shell fountain. This Fountain was referred to as one of the wonders of the Expo and was built entirely from sea-shells from Pakistan.

• Our firm was appointed the official representative of Pakistan in the IGA 2003 Rostock Exposition. We built a Pakistan pavilion and Pakistan garden in the Expo that represented some historical architecture in Pakistan with the blend of modern techniques.

• Theme: ‘Man lives in harmony with nature’

• We are proud to state that we built a Pakistan Pavilion and Garden in the above mentioned Expo where we received a comprehensive category award

• In building the Paksitan pavilion, we saved the Government of Pakistan a massive USD 16 million as previously the contract was awarded to a blue-eyed company for USD 18 million. Thereafter re-tendering was initiated at our protest and we provided the lowest cost of construction at USD 2.9 million. The second lowest was still USD 11 million. The total cost of the project was USD 7 million out of which we spent USD 4.1 million from our pockets with the Government of Pakistan contributing USD 2.9 million.

• We are proud to state that our firm was the official representative of Pakistan in subject cited Expo where we constructed a 2500 sq. meter Self-built pavilion with the theme of ‘harmony in diversity’. The Pavilion was ranked as one of the top five pavilions of the Expo in terms of foot traffic and more than 65,000 individuals visited the Pakistan Pavilion each day duly accounted for by expo electronic counters. The building was exact replica of the Lahore fortress in the city of Lahore, Pakistan which is on the world’s heritage sites list and is an epitomic symbol of harmony in ancient history with modern techniques where the Pavilion was constructed with modern recycle-able materials.

• We are pleased to inform that we were the official representatives of Pakistan and we constructed a magnificent Pakistan Pavilion. The theme of the World Leisure Expo 2011, Hangzhou is ‘Leisure, enhancing the quality of life’. The message of Pakistan Pavilion to the visitors of the world leisure expo was “Pakistan is unique !” . We were awarded the “Best organizer” award in this expo.

World Expo 2012, Yeosu, South Korea (three months)

• We are pleased to inform that we were the official representative from Pakistan for the World Exposition 2012, Yeosu, South Korea wherein we planned, organized, financed, constructed and operated a Pakistan Pavilion under the theme of ‘ Sustainability through humanity’ under the overall Expo theme of “the living ocean and coasts”. • 2013 Beijing International Tourism Commodities Fair

We were exclusively invited by the Beijing city government to represent Pakistan in the 2013 Beijing International Tourism Commodities Fair. We are proud to inform that Pakistan pavilion was the most visited pavilions in the entire fair and it was f further duly visited by the top Chinese Government officials. We were also given the top award for our participation in the said fair by the Chinese authorities.

• International Horticulture Exposition 2014, Qingdao

• We were honoured to have been personally invited by the Honourable Vice Mayor. Wang Jianxiang of Qingdao city who flew to Pakistan to request our company’s exclusive participation from Pakistan. We constructed and operated a magnificient Pakistan Garden on an area of 1000 sq. meters that showcased the Pakistan’s horticlture and culture in the most positive manner via a pavilion theme of “Sustainable development though green transformation”. The Expo operated from April to October (6 month duration).

• Awarded “Gold Medal” in the 1st FPCCI Achievement award (2013)

• We are proud to inform that our firm has been awarded the Gold medal in the 1st FPCCI Achievement award 2013 in the category of Promotion of Pakistan’s image abroad and in the International Expositions Category.

• International Horticulture Exposition 2016, Antalya, Turkey

• We were the official participant from Pakistan and constructed a Pakistan Pavilion and garden on an area of 1200 sq. meters. The theme of the Pakistan Garden was a “Harmony with past, seeds for future” which was in line with Expo theme of “Flowers and Children” The Expo duration was for 6 months from April to October 2016.

• 2018 Taichung World Flora Expo, Taipei Far East Oriental Trading Company (Pvt) Ltd We built and operated Pakistan Garden in the international Horticulture Expo 2018 which spanned from November 2018 till April of 2019.

• We also participated and competed in world garden competition utilizing typical geometrical simple yet timeless designs that harmonize the present with the future. The garden was constructed on an area of 300 sq. meters. The main theme of the Expo was ‘Discover GNP’; standing for ‘Green’, ‘Nature’ and ‘People’. The Taichung Expo boldly redefines ‘GNP’ as a new indicator of the value of the harmonious development of Green (green production), Nature (ecosystem) and People (humanity) in Taichung. The Pakistan Garden theme was “ Green Harmony”. Our Pakistan Garden was awarded the prestigious SILVER award by the Taiwan expo authorities in consultation with a jury of international horticulture experts from 20 countries

• We designed built and operated a magnificent Pakistan Indoor Garden in this A category five month international BIE and AIPH accredited exposition. The theme of International Garden Expo 2019, theme of the Expo is “Live Green, Live Better” and in line with this theme our Pakistan (indoor) Garden theme was “Green is life”. The Pakistan Indoor Garden received the prestigious ‘Special Award’ from amongst hundreds of gardens via a unanimous jury of international experts in architecture and horticulture. Keeping this theme in mind, the Pakistan Garden’s theme is as under: Pakistan Pavilion’s theme: “Harmony with past, seeds for future” At present the world is facing an energy, food, climate change and the financial problems which has made negatively affected the environment. Our future is threatened and present production of agriculture is finding it difficult to keep pace with the vast exploding human population. However, the same multiple crises have given us the opportunity to pursue macro level global economic restructuring and to change the mode of economic development by implementing a transformation led by harmonious renaissance through historic lessons to pursue environmentally sustainable development of world economies. Our Children today are the future of tomorrow. Sowing the right seeds today will ensure the right and rich harvest is gained tomorrow.

History is rich with innumerable environmentally sustainable practices that our ancestors used to thrive with utmost respect to our world. It is proposed that these systems may be learnt from and adapted in a modern manner and this will also directly contribute to economic recovery, new job creation, and reduced threats of food, water, energy, ecosystem and climate crises. While such a transformation encompasses such sectors as energy efficient technologies, renewable energy, public transport, sustainable agriculture, environmentally friendly tourism, and the sustainable management of natural resources including ecosystems and biodiversity, the Pakistan garden shall focus on the use of historic, traditional and historical eco-friendly horticulture techniques that are prevalent in our part of the world as a major contributing force towards a green economy that can be implemented globally for an agricultural green revolution that in part would create dynamic new industries, quality jobs, and income growth while mitigating and adapting to climate change and arresting biodiversity decline.”

Pakistan Garden is located in the GY3 plot of Park City Pavilion Exhibition Area of chengdu EXPO ，and covers an area of about 1200㎡, the overall design adopts the architectural style of Mughal dynasty and garden style of “Chahar bagh”. The total garden consists of three parts :the main pavilion(the main buidling ), gazebos and gardens.

The main pavilion

The Mughal architectural style originated in the Mughal Empire and features symmetrical beauty and exquisite decorative techniques ,such as Mosaic, murals, reliefs etc. Later, design elements of Persian Islamic architecture were gradually blended with Hindustani art, and often produced interesting forms. Such as the Taj Mahal, Lahore Fort and other world famous buildings, are the representative of Mughal architectural style.

In Pakistan Garden, the pavilion built in the center of the park does not use the traditional dome design, the top floor is flat, and the sides and back are decorated with fences. The entrance of the main building is a pointed arch.The upper end of the pointed arch of the door is like a honeycomb structure, and a variety of special painted tiles on the left and right sides of the main entrance, as well as flowered glass doors and Windows, are all symmetrical distribution

In the pavilion, Pakistan shows the inheritance and development of historical traditional handicrafts through murals, multimedia and various traditional handicrafts made from hundreds of years of handicraft skills. From the architecture of the main building and the details of the painted tiles, as well as the various interior decoration designs, the splendid historical and cultural heritage of Pakistan is reproduced everywhere.

The Gazebo

There are two welcoming symmetrical Gazebos at the entrance of the garden , inlaid with special painted tiles and exquisite carved flowers , symbolizing our open arms to visitors from around the world to visit and rest, which is also a reflection of Mughal architectural design.
